I played this game and it was so great! The music and the art was amazing. And I liked the gameplay.
But seriously...the music creeped me out (as it should) and the Phantom popping up all the time would always make me jump three feet in the air.
I wonder if they're making a sequel??

I've never heard of this game but I'm seriously going to look it up now. Is it for computer? PC/Mac?

I had to buy the game but I liked it so I didn't mind. I got it from Bigfishgames.com. I don't know if there are torrent versions...?

Here's the one I DL'd a couple months ago: thepiratebay.org/torrent/5894060/Mystery_Legends_Phantom_of_the_Opera_Premium_EditionBe aware, thepiratebay may contain viruses. Only proceed if you have decent anti-virus software and know how to check for malware on downloads. And, if you like the game and think it's worth the price, be sure to buy a copy.

Big Fish Games has both a Mac and a PC version available for download. I generally don't download things illegally, one just on principle and two it's too risky.

But then again, if I really like something I downloaded, I'll go out of my way to not only buy it, but also grab extra swag too. Anything to support to company. I love finding quality products and I'll do whatever I can to back a developer I respect. I just also dislike supporting mediocrity, or evil, unfair money-making scams, like a lot of the DLC in modern games (Bioware/AE Games, I'm looking at you), pay-to-play, and The Sims 3. Seriously it's $150 ON SALE to buy a 3-pack of the base game and some expansions. And it cost money to get official AE skins/patterns that fans can make for free! Don't get me wrong, I love Mass Effect and Dragon Age, and I own every game in that series.. but I tend to find ways of getting my DLC for them. I'm not gonna pay $4 for a freakin' "weapon set". UGH! [/rant]

I just bought it yesterday. And I LOVE it. I really like Erik in this, although he can't tell Christine and Evalina apart... And, again, they have the wrong haircolour, but that's just me complaining about minor things.
The music is wonderful and the art breathtaking. It kreeped me out to notice that the dolls are blinking and that the eyes of the face on the sink in the first mirror-room are following you. Also, in my second run in the game, there was no fire in the chessboardroom. But there was when I first played it.
It's open end, so I really hope there'll be a sequel.
And I really liked the hanging Raoul!

I also liked how when you'd find him in the mirror's he'd start saying things like "My name is Erik!" XD

(In english. yeay, so now, I can quote too.)

Okay, I just like totally got creeped out... Call me sensitive but...
Here i was, playing it again (Obsession?), standing in the wintergarden... And suddenly I noticed that the little angel on his pillar or whatever this is, was looking at me. I thought: "Hmm? Wasn't he looking somewhere else just now?" And as soon as I was finished thinking that... the Angel looked away.
O.o Holy... it was like freaking Blink from Dr. Who O.o

(Though I do tend to lend some support to mediocrity, being rather mediocre myself. Salieridy and what not.) This game is THE BEST!! I'd kind of like for there to be a sequel, but not if they screw it up, you know?

It takes more than calling me a pirate to get to me (like, don't say my jokes suck, cause that would hurt). I use sarcasm a lot.. which kinda fails when you're typing and people can't hear your voice. Hmm. Oops. *shrug* Oh well! I did really enjoy the game, and it was cheap, so I eventually ended up buying it. ^.^ PS: *sings* I am a pirate and pirates are free, we are pirates! Ok.. you can call my jokes lame now. >.>

OH, OH! Erik's design in this game reminds me of a mix between Jack of Blades from Fable, and Altair from Assassin's Creed.
