Those stories are actually really creepy and grewsome and no childrenstales at all.

Did you know Snowhite's Stepmother had to dance herself to death in red hot ironshoes?
So, which stories do you know? And... do you think it's okay to soften them for little children?

Yeah and in one version of Cinderella, her stepsisters' feet get chopped so they can fit into the shoes.
And in one Sleeping Beauty version she basically gets raped in her sleep. The only way she was woken up was because she had twins and one sucked the poisoned spindle out of her finger...geh. And then her mother-in-law was an ogress who also in the end had to dance herself to death I think.

And noone cared XD Right, and you know Disney knew that story too, because that's where they got her name from. Sleeping Beauty's children where called "Aurora" and "Jour" or "Journée". |

Haha yeah I remember that.
And I think it's alright to soften them for little children because I know if I had heard these stories when I was little I probably would have been traumatized for life...

Absolutely heartwarming. In one version he goes stumbling around in the desert, blind, until he hears her singing and she had twins and then she finds him and cries over his eyes and he gets magically healed...from her tears. The Disney version kinda did that. |

Red Riding Hood came to the house and the wolf said, that surely she would be hungry and that she could eat the ribs from the cupboard and drink some wine. After she was done, the wolf told her it would be nice if she'd come to bed, so she could snuggle with her ol' granny. Stupid girl did, got raped and eaten. the end. |
