Okay, so what are some of the worse ones y'all have come across? I'm sure at least one person here has either heard-of or stumbled upon the infamous phic "It's OK I'm Done," and the perhaps equally awful "My Sweet Christine." I've heard "A Man's Lust" is pretty bad, as Erik is evil and undeformed and Christine has a disconcertingly close relationship with her father.

No. After everyone's reaction to the other link I posted, I really don't think it would be morally right to inflict any more of these horrors upon y'all. Also I really don't want to get banned.

Also I really don't want to get banned. yeah, i tend to forget that curiosity can be detrimental to me as well as cats. Not much good comes from reading bad smut, unless you get a good laugh out of it... Now i've got to go find some well-written phanfiction to post- BRB!

Alright then. Here's some of my favorites. I have a love/hate relationship with this story. As a story, it's one of my favorites on the site and it's very well-written, but there's some OOC and deformity-downplaying issues. Check it out anyway, though, because I love it. ;D ;D ;D www.fanfiction.net/s/6557520/1/LAnge_NoirNow for the Leroux. This is potentially my favorite oneshot on fanfiction ever. www.fanfiction.net/s/7514283/1/LostAnd this is my favorite authoress, Goddess Eirene. Read any of her stories you want. They're all pretty amazing, in my opinion. www.fanfiction.net/u/1922477/Goddess_Eirene

Call me bitchy, but ARGH! If anyone would keep me hostage like that, I wouldn't be nice to them at all. Grmpf. That stories does nothing for my dignity... but it really has anice writing style. I'll just have to fight finishing it...

"Lost" was amazing! (I'm referring to the one-shot, not the television show, hee hee.) I like that it was I'll TRY to love you rather than I DO love you.

Thank you for sharing.

So in general, do y'all prefer the fluffier stories or the darker ones? Or perhaps a bit of both? Why?

I really like dark ones. like REALLY dark... but at the same time, I love a happy ending XD But noone said there can't be a happy ending to a dark story. Fluff is fun to read sometimes. I know I have to stop reading when imaginary hearts start to pop up after every sentence. <3 Because, then it's too fluffy <3 You know what I mean? <3

So in general, do y'all prefer the fluffier stories or the darker ones? Or perhaps a bit of both? Why? I definitely like dark. Dark, messed up situations with lots of crazy, but somehow likable characters. Anything that makes me think "Wow.. I can't believe I'm cheering for the guy who just did [insert unspeakable act of evil]". Even better is when dark meets fluff half-way, where I'd think "Aww.. that really pulls on my heartstrings despite the fact that it's kinda twisted". Why? Because I find flawed characters and bad situations to be more believable. When characters feel real, I feel more involved and am more likely to have a strong emotional reaction to the story. I usually can't tolerate straight fluff though, unless it's well written. Makes me feel uncomfortable. If I start rolling my eyes, it's a bad sign. I guess I wasn't hugged enough as a child? XD
