What's the most recent book you've read (non Phantom related) or that you're currently reading?
I've just finished Comes the Darkness, Comes the Light by Vanessa Vega. It's a memoir about her struggle with depression and self-injury. It was a very interesting book.

On a long term basis I'm reading Doctor Zhivago, but I'm finding that I have less and less time available to read. From what I have read, though, it's really wonderful. It focuses on the Bolshevik Revolution and the life of a poet, Zhivago, as it unfolds around him. And Patulya Antipov/Strelnikov might be one of the most interesting characters I've ever read in any book, period. On a short term basis, "The Yellow Wallpaper," a short story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. It's absolutely chilling.

It's unbelievably creepy. So of course, I thought it was brilliant.

I've been reading Stacy Schiff's biography on Cleopatra. It's been pretty good so far but I haven't gotten that far into it. I love history!

I've just finished "The Monk" by Matthew Lewis! Well, what can I say? Rape, blood, pregnant nuns, ghosts, castles, demons...A Gothic Novel And I've finished "Memoirs of a Geisha" too! I loved that book, and I'm very curious to see the movie! Right now, I'm reading "Dead souls" by Gogol, which I shall surely adore <3

My long term read is "Les Miserables" by of course, Victor Hugo. Long term because not only is the book big enough to be used as a weapon, but often times I find myself wondering what exactly Hugo was writing about. There is a section in the book I swear was another story Hugo was writing and it just got shuffled in his Les Mis manuscript so he lost it and his editor never noticed because there was so much going on in the story anyway, who cares if this part doesn't make sense?

Great Expectations. I love Dickens, and this is one of his best works for sure also loving a christmas carol, which we're reading for school. I'm reading like 5 different books for school now (but they're all pretty good)

My friend from New York recently sent me a copy of Please Understand Me II by David Keirsky (I think that's his name, not having the book in my hands at this very moment I am questioning my spelling) and it's great. My brothers and I spent some time laughing about how spot on the personalties are.

The Loop - Nicholas Evans. It's pretty good thus fair. Still haven't finished the other published Phan-fiction I've been working on. It got boring. So that tells you something, haha.
