Anyway, the concert was the first time I truly heard Anthony Warlow's voice. My God, I'm so glad there are men like him in this planet. I had never heard him before either. I have so many things to youtube and so little time... Beside that, when he and JOJ sang I just looked at my friend next to me like, See, there still are real Phantoms out there... |

Anyway, the concert was the first time I truly heard Anthony Warlow's voice. My God, I'm so glad there are men like him in this planet. I absolutely love love love Anthony Warlow and his voice. He did this concert called The Main Event with Olivia Newton-John and John Farnham, parts of which are on youtube and he is amazing. (John Farnham is amazing too actually but...I digress.) I really wanna see that concert but it only aired in Australia I think. Here he sings 'Granada' with John Farnham...and bantering with him. |

May I say, the DVD is wondrous. I just wish there were no credits in the beginning... But I guess, if that's the first time someone is being introduced to Phantom they may... like having credits on the screen?

I must say, I do like Ramin's interpretation of Erik, I really do. I find him really sweet at times. The way he's like "Touch me, trust me" but as soon as Christine really tries to touch him, he kind of freaks out XD And I love the fact that during "point of no return" he really was copying Piangi's accent at first XD
But he was choking Christine O.o
And the ending-ending. I loved that. Erik carrying Christine in her wedding dress off the stage XD

Yeah, I can actually say I've at least heard the recording now. My friend was reading a book called "Angel of Death" in the library the other day (completely non-phantom-related book, I think) and it prompted me to get it all on iTunes.
I LOVE THAT LINE. ALL OF THE SARCASM OMOG IT WAS AMAZING. And music of the night makes me go all shaky. teehee.
