So, I was born and grew up in 90's and I'm really obsessed with these things XD
My favorite is "The Lion King"
Cause Scar rules ù_ù
And I loved "Aladdin", "Mulan", "Tarzan","Pocahontas","The hunchback of Notredame", "Finding Nemo","Wall-E","Up!","The Princess and the Frog" ,"Tangled" and others. (I can't remember the whole of them XD)
I never liked "The Little Mermaid" or "Beauty and Beast" too much.
There's too sweetness and romance in those movies! Urgh, I'm a bitter lady!
But Gaston and the Sea Witch are great villains!

And the Sea Witch taught me the importance of BODY LANGUAGE!

I love Disney movies! Classic Disney I love Peter Pan, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, Mulan, Fantasia, Fantasia 2000, Alice in Wonderland, The Sword in the Stone, 101 Dalmatians (animated and live action), Winnie the Pooh, Basil-The Great Mouse Detective, The Lion King, James and the Giant Peach, Hercules (even though it obviously doesn't really follow Greek mythology that closely), Emperor's New Groove, Lilo and Stitch, and The Princess and the Frog. Pixar/Disney I love Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Up, Toy Story 2 and 3, Meet the Robinsons and Ratatouille.
I did like Beauty and the Beast when I was younger because I wanted her library...I think that may have been the only reason...goes to show how much stock I put in romance. And I liked the songs too. When I got older and watched it again, Belle kinda annoyed me. I saw it on Broadway before it was replaced by some other Disney musical and I liked the Broadway show better because there were more songs. Gaston must be one of my favorite Disney Villains. He makes me laugh so much.
I like The Little Mermaid...because of the songs...again. I was never a huge romantic. Also, there's something about wanting to be a mermaid that just sort of stuck with me when I was younger. And I love "Poor Unfortunate Souls". It's one of the best songs in the Disney archives. That and "Mother Knows Best"...and "Gaston".

And after 50 animated movies I STILL think Snow White is the fairest XD I don't know why but I love her so much and the way she's drawn ^.^
I just wish they'll stop this "Second part" stuff. It worked with "Rescuers", "Bambi" and "Peter Pan"(but not really for me, I HATE Jane >.<), but was Cinderella 2 and 3 really nessesary??

Oh and Tangled of course! I just watched that movie a few days ago.
I like Mulan. Considering I'm Asian...she's Asian...haha...it was always amazing to me that she was Asian and in a Disney movie! I was like that's so cool! And she kicked BUTT. And I love the songs in that movie.
I think Rapunzel is so cute.
And I really like Megara.
I love Flynn Rider. I think he's hilarious. But I think my favorite has to be Peter Pan. I've loved him since I was in Preschool. I wanted to BE him.

I think it was partly the fact that he got to stay young forever. I think his cocky attitude appealed to me because he didn't care about anything and I wanted that sort of confidence. Of course, when you're 3, you don't really understand the deeper dynamics of their relationship and don't understand that Wendy is a girl and you are a girl therefore you should be upset at how they all treat her. All you know is HEY THEY'RE FLYING I WANNA FLY OOHHH PIXIE...WHAT'S THAT...? COOL. When I watched it again...it did annoy me how they treated her. Of course, Wendy kinda annoyed me too...soo haha. |

Ha okay. My favourite IS Beauty and the Beast. I love that movie and I love Belle. The only thing I don't love is the prince in the end. Honestly, it's extremely Phantomy to me (you know, except Raoul isn't a crazy suitor, hahaha) but anyway, I think that's why I loved it so much.
Aside from that I like Aladdin (but none of the sequels), Tangled was good, from what I remember of Mulan I liked it, Lion King (can anyone say Hamlet?), The Great Mouse Detective (Vincent Price!!!), 101 Dalmatians, Fox and the Hound, the Toy Stories. I can't think of them all, but I didn't watch a lot of movies growing up.
