No, I don't think so... His name is made of Hermes and Aphrodite for a reason, I guess. They were all whores of some kind, exept for Athena... and Artemis... maybe... can't remember. Artemis was a flirt. And then she killed the men that fell in love with her. So that's just as bad I think. I'll have to look in to Hermaphotis thing. I read it that it was Hermes and Aphrodite's too, but I thought there was another version. That's the problem with Greek myth, there are a hundered different verisons of everything... True. You never know which version is right XD They just have one thing in commen. Zeus was the greatest whore of them all.

I feel like there needs to be a short comic about this: Jerry Springer, Greek Pantheon Edition.

I just remembered how stupid the mortals seem in greek mythology... Asking for years to live as there a corns of sands on the beach... and not asking for eternal beauty and youth as well. Stupid. Or vowing to remain pure and virgin forever and THEN allowing a god to kiss you. Idiots!

Well how could they rightly show just how superior the gods were if first you didn't know how stupid the mortals were? Or something to that effect...

If the gods really were superior, I'd understand that. But they are just like the mortals, jealous, greedy, angry, vengeful... I mean Zeus himself isn't the sharpest...

That way the mortals could feel they'd always be forgiven for whatever it was they were doing because it wasn't half as bad as what the gods were up to. Except Hades. I think he was pretty much a good boy. Think being the keyword. Well, unless you go by later stories of Hades and Persephone, where they say he raped her. But I don't believe that. The early stories were merely of kidnapping. I guess they needed to make the god of the dead "evil" after a while.

I just know the story of him bending the rules a bit so Persephone HAD to stay with him. Ya know, the rule that if you ate something in the netherworld, you had to stay there. Before Demeter (Persephnoes mother) succeded in blackmailing Zeus -> "IF I don't get my daughter back, I'll freeze the world to death and every plant and animal and human will DIE!" Hades put a seed of a pomegranate in Persephone's mouth while she was sleeping. Of course she swallowed it and BAM! But Zeus was actually okay with the abduction O.o So they made that 6 month deal. I really can't remember Hades doing anything more evil than that... He never really left his world and Phersephone loved him, or so it seems, since she got jealous of a Nymph called Minth Hades had a liason with and turned her into a plant of mint.

Yup that was the original that I was aware of as well. Detemer should have just minded her own business, haha.

Her brother kidnapped his niece. Persphone didn't really seem to mind too awful much anyway.
