It's always sad, when a run of a performance is ending. I shall never see The Phantom again, since it not played in Germany anymore... Not even in a traveling show like Elisabeth. If it would be, I'd have a good chance to see it, living in munich... |

If it would be, I'd have a good chance to see it, living in munich... Oh that's sad! Maybe they'll do a world tour again after the tour that they had in the UK? I know they're thinking about another tour for the US that supposedly is going to be revamped in some way... |

Okay, but that really is terrible. ALL OF THE ERIKS ARE SUDDENLY DISAPPEARING!!  On the bright side, they've finally made it available for schools to do, but it just won't be the same. I'm going to try and convince my mother to take me to Las Vegas this summer, so that I can see it before it closes. Key word here being "try." |

Okay, but that really is terrible. ALL OF THE ERIKS ARE SUDDENLY DISAPPEARING!! On the bright side, they've finally made it available for schools to do, but it just won't be the same. I'm going to try and convince my mother to take me to Las Vegas this summer, so that I can see it before it closes. Key word here being "try." Well, see it this way: You had it ten years longer than me... All the old and good musicals dissapear... Noone playing them anymore... The only one still running here is Starlight Express, and that is only due to the fact thet they had to build the theater just for THIS one musical... and they are trying to milk it till it's dry. I WANT TO SEE PHANTOM again!!! So much I'd even watch "Das Phantom der Oper" in February... but... I don't know if I really want to see a Christine that looks like 40 and has a terrible accent... but she's blonde! |

XD I purchased the songs out of curiosity, and a lot of them sound pretty good, but then again I have no idea what anyone is saying. My thought process while listening: "Oh my GOSH it's all in GERMAN! I don't speak German at ALL! What genre of music even IS this? This song is kinda catchy. OH HEY I ACTUALLY KNOW THAT WORD!" Another good point is that they actually use the part of Faust mentioned in the book for the croak scene, and Carlotta's break-down is just hilarious. |

Hahaha, that's fine. It's not dumb! There are no dumb questions in my book anyway. I used to live in Asia through high school but I went to an American school. I used to live in South Korea. Korea had it's own production, I know, with a singer as the Phantom who wasn't that bad actually...haha. I just didn't like how they sang "Pantom ob de Opehla" instead of translating that phrase as well. But the World Tour of Phantom in English came to Korea so I got to see that one. It was really good but I had really bad seats so I couldn't see very well. Haha so when I got to go to College in NY I went and saw Phantom twice in the second row...teehee. |

I'm so remembered of when I saw the Phantom years back. oh, it was just wonderfull...
And the chandelier crash... The chandelier would drop two meters straight down before "gliding" to the stage. People under it were sceaming in real panic, since they didn't know it would fall. Oh those sweet memories...
