So I watched it. The title cards were great, and it was pretty freakin' amazing for a budget of virtually nothing. Also, the COSTUMES! They were fantastic.
There was one part, however, that was really REALLY unintentionally funny.
Let it serve us to say that it was Erik, in Carlotta's dressing room, with the candlestick. XD

I'm pretty sure PR has reviewed, or at least mentioned, both of them at some point.

I mean, I never knew she was supposed to be until I read the book, given most versions have her brunette, but even before I saw them I pictured her brunette. Probably because my hair is brown...

I love how, once again, we have ended up talking about Christine's hair. It was blonde in 1943, and in the Ken Hill show, and in Das Phantom der Oper. It was brunette in Portrait of a Living Corpse, which, incidentally, is what we were originally going to talk about here. I think that perhaps we should make a thread for the sole purpose of talking about Christine's hair. In fact, I think I'll go and do that right now.

I. Must. See. This. Now.
It's a fact of life. I need my phantom to survive.
