There's probably only one person here on this forum that knows that I'm a creator of a Phantom comic called Black Nostalgia. I've been working on it for a few years now. It's finally reaching it's climax.
So I thought I'd start this topic to see if anyone else knows about any other comics out there. =)

I've seen a few single comics floating about but that's about it. Is your comic available to read?

Have you? Awesome. =) But sure! Here's the first page: dragonessdeanna.deviantart.com/gallery/99722#/d17ht73You'll have to excuse the mess. Most of the series needs to be redrawn because it's old and out of date... So I'm sorry if it's somewhat confusing in the beginning. ^^;;

Don't worry! I'm working on a comic, too. But it has nothing to do with the Phantom and it is in serious need of being re-drawn. I'm trying to hold off though so that way I actually get somewhere in the comic.

There seems to be no end to the madness when it comes to comic making. But I hope you enjoy BN, and good luck with your comic as well. ^^

There are several anime versions out there, as well as one French version that was floating around the web for awhile that looked amazing. It was modern-day and the art was gorgeous. I was never able to discover who the artist was, and I've since been unable to find a link to the story. I wish it had been continued. It looked very promising. There's one graphic novel that I'd love to get my hands on. It's a Sherlock Holmes-meets-Erik sort of thing, and the art is so unbelievably cool. Erik's design is just too amazing. So close to how I pictured him. This flikr account has some scans of a Greek comic book adaptation of the story: www.flickr.com/photos/42475215@N07/4574347037/in/photostream

One really good web comic that I've seen on DeviantArt is "Only Love and Music." I was also fortunate to find a copy of "Batman: Masque" from my local comic book shop. Its good points: nice art and great panel flow/composition, interesting take on the story, and get this, TWO Phantoms!! (one of which doubles as the Raoul figure). Bad points: the shading is a bit intense, and some of the characters are flat. Points in general: It strays from Leroux quite a bit. Names are changed, and the main focus is on ballet rather than opera. If you're a comic book snob or Leroux purist, you'll probably want to disregard it (hint: it's an Elseworlds), but if you're just a die hard phanatic then knock yourself out.

I may have to check it out.

And I guess since no one else has put it up, AsheRhyder has a comic with Erik and Christine which is the one that Pika-la-Cynique based her comic off of called "Roommates" with Jareth, Javert from Les Mis, James Norrington from Pirates of the Caribbean and of course, the Phantom. It's pretty good, I like it. Although I'm not sure how much of a E/C shipper she is since Erik seems to be with someone...else? And there are all kinds of extra characters that come in and out which is really cool and fandom crossover-y. asherhyder.deviantart.com/gallery/

I started reading "Roommates" but got bored at some point. I do like how she does the characters though.
