"Monsuier, I bid you welcome..."
Thanks to everyone that's joined, this is going to be so much fun! Please introduce yourselves and welcome your fellow companions here!
I'm Nijil-xnv, but you all may address me as Mel or Niji, which ever you prefer. I've been living in the relm of Phantomy-goodness since I was about four and making my older brother play Christine. You can just imagine how exciting it is for me to have this place to run around in now! ;D

Hello Mel! It's great to meet you, and thank you for running this board! I'm Tiannangel, but feel free to call me Tian or Lia, either one is fine. I've been a 'Phan' since I was 14, which probably is far later than most people here, but I've known about Phantom since I was a little kid. My aunt was a big fan of musical theatre and had the joy of watching the original cast with Crawford and Brightman. (The amount of jealousy I feel is indescribable.)

I know I would be horribly jealous as well. For a while my dad had told me that he had seen Michael Crawford and I thought that was awesome but then my aunt (who introduced me to Phantom) set him straight and told me it wasn't Crawford at all that they had seen. Le Sigh... It's wonderful to have you here and I hope you enjoy yourself! Post away.

What can I say, Mel, thanks for the board! I'm Leonore, and I've been a phan since I was...nine-ish? My realm of interest is really in the world of full-on classical music and opera, though I still hold a special affection for musical theater. (I am absolutely obsessed with Beethoven. Sorry, Erik. This is the temperamental musical genius that's got my vote. )

Hello! I'm...listening to a song right now and I totally got distracted. Ahem. I'm Muirin, and I've got it bad for Phantom. I mean bad. I'm talking "Get a LIFE, sister" bad. I'd always been aware of the story, but the first version of it I saw was the 2004 movie. Since then, I've done a complete 180: I went from liking hunky Gerard Butler with his barely-there deformity to full-on horrible, skeletal, noseless Leroux Erik. My favorite version has to be Kay's novel. Love it to little bitty Phantom pieces. The end.

Hullo!
I'm asianorange. I've loved Phantom ever since I saw the 2004 movie and then I saw the musical and it was like THE MUSICAL IS MY NEW OBSESSION. And then I read the novel and it's just been downhill from there. ;D I listened to the soundtrack of the musical when I was really young and got scared and didn't listen to it again for years...haha but I've thankfully gotten over that fear.
Thanks Mel for setting this up!!

Hello Mel, nice to meet you.
I'm The-Savage-Nymph on Deviantart, but my friends call me Vincent (although I'm female XD) or Katja.
I am a "Phan" ever since I can remember, since my mother was a Phan too. I saw the Musical when I was 13 with my class and read the books (Leroux and Kay) afterwards.

Hi! I'm BriggsPower, but you can call me Agnese, which is my real name, or Agnes, the English version XD I fell in love with Phantom during a London trip (David Shannon and Gina Beck) and I saw the 2004 movie, the Charles Dance mini-series, the 1925 movie, Argento's "Phantom", the animated version and 25th anniversary concert on DVD *sigh* I really wish I could see that at Royal Albert Hall I read Leroux's book and I love it <3. Well, that's me, dudes. See ya! MWUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAAHHAHAHAH„

Oops.. I suppose I should say hello. Hmm.. well, I'm Wulphe, but I've been called Wolfy, Shae, and that creepy obsessive chick over the years. I was first exposed to Phantom, quite obliviously, in my elementary school choir. We sang Music of the Night one year for our winter concert. I always liked that song, but I didn't know where it was from until I met my Phantom-obsessed friend in my middle school choir, who gave me the Leroux book to read. I adored the story, but its importance in my life was drowned out by my other obsession: the entire Tolkien universe. Then, in high school the 2004 movie aired, and I was finally able to see the "musical version"(ish). I was... disappointed, but shocked that I could sing along with Music of the Night immediately. XD Again, I became disinterested. Life went on, and got pretty bat-sh*t crazy for a couple years. I went through a bit of a delusional breakdown, involving someone I love very much, and was diagnosed with lunacy (aka: bipolar disorder.. grumble), which really explains a lot in retrospect. I picked up my old book again about a year ago, and I've been hopelessly addicted ever since. Everything about Erik's character speaks to me... Wow. I really didn't intend to go on like this. Er.. Hi! I hope I don't become too much of a nuisance. If I haven't already, that is. Lol.
