Okay, second week of summer break after seventh grade, my mother and I rented the 2004 version.
I bawled my eyes out.
From then on, it was like: WATCH *ALL* THE VERSIONS!!! READ *ALL* THE BOOKS!!!
I am now in 10th grade. There is a framed picture of Lon Chaney Erik by my bedside.
My father: "Why would you want to wake up to THAT?"
Me: *copious amounts of grin*

That mans voice made me feel all... fuzzy when I heard it for the first time. Point of no Return made me feel little bit like Christine in that Kays-Erik-plays-Don-Juan-and-Christine-goes-awwwwwwwwwww-part. *hides in shame* Hahaha! I was too little to experience that. However even now when I listen to him I am in complete and utter awe. His voice is what every other actor that plays Erik gets compared to, and I admit, that's not entirely fair but oh well. |
