Hahaha well if you want like specific movies or fandoms or stories or music I can list them... I'm gonna make a new thread in the Books, Movies and Theater section and then everyone can list them! Yay! Do it! Make it happen! ;D

I'm really feeling the love in this thread. Now we know our common bond! Obsession. Also, our ability to make normal people think we're nuts. ^.^

Leroux version only:
Nadir regretted saving Erik's life, but couldn't turn him in or he would have gotten in trouble with the Shah and lost his pension money, and he did't have the heart to condemn Erik. He's relieved when Erik dies, even if he pities the life he was forced to live.

(Also Leroux)
Carlotta can actually sing very, VERY good... but she has no soul in her voice at all.
And Christine can sing while crying (like in the Argento version)

I think Carlotta can sing very good, but she's a pompous ass who won't listen to the Opera Ghost's suggestions, and Erik can't stand "working" with her in his theater.

For me Carlotta sees the music more as a tool for fame, not as a heavenly thing that one does for its own greatness and glory... She doesn't "love" music... She only is this woman with a great voice and a good technique. But Erik loves music. he lives music. he breathes music. And so he can't stand this... Woman. like you said, he can't "work" with her. Christine on the other hand...

WARNING: randomness below
Leroux Christine is a vegetarian The Persian has jade-colored eyes Leroux Carlotta has red hair and a decent voice, but a personality like the 2004 version. Leroux Erik has a soft spot for meringues and a respectable collection of masks (like Charles Dance) ALW Erik stole that fedora of his during an epic adventure concerning César, the Daroga, and a jar of pickles a while back The Persian and Phillipe exist in ALW-verse, but never show up onstage Christine and Raoul (any version) shared a first kiss in Perros as children
...That is all. Thank you :3

La Carlotta is unofficially voiced by the woman who sat behind me in church today, because her singing voice brought to mind the freakish lovechild of Tina Turner and Tiny Tim. Don't ask me how that works. ;D

This is my first post on this forum, yay ^^ Anyway... I know this was a couple pages ago, and it's pretty much been dismissed by this point, but the possibility of Kerik having marfan's could also contribute to the heart problems that he has near the end of the book. Just an interesting thing to note.
