Here, here! I don't hate it, but it's not really Phantom at all. Given that, and for the sake of my own sanity, I no longer look at it as a sequal it was intended to be. I just look at it as another play that happens to use those characters as so many phan-fictions do.

2. Erik doesn't come to Christine, Christine seeks him out the night before her wedding, and wants to stay with him. I agree HIM leaving her afterwards does piss me off. It's difficult to imagine him doing that. O.o Makes it even worse for me. She cheats on Raoul (Being with Erik the night before her wedding) AND Erik (Leaving him after having sex once to marry someone else) in one night??? And... HOW can she even tell that the boy is Eriks son then? I mean, Raoul wouldn't understand if she refused him on their wedding night and... musical talent could be hers. Indeed

Indeed But Christine didn't leave Erik. He left her. Which is just as unbelievable.

Also, I find it hilarious that in the beginning of Love Never Dies the Phantom threatens to kidnap Gustave to get Christine to sing, then later at the end when Gustave is taken by Meg, the Phantom's first thought is that Raoul took him and he says, "It's that idiot Raoul. I will kill that drunken fool! That he dare take this child - A child that isn't his!"
Right... like you were about to do only 24hrs earlier? ...

But Erik is rather lunatic and a little (just a little!) insane XD
